Few people know Virginia’s Northern Neck quite like Barbara Bragg. Since moving to the area in 1974, she has spent five decades living, working, and investing in the communities she proudly calls home.
Barbara began her real estate career in 1987 after earning her real estate license with encouragement from her husband, Bob, who was developing waterfront communities throughout the region. After gaining invaluable experience with Chesapeake Properties and earning her broker’s license in 1990, Barbara co-founded Bragg & Company, helping grow the family business into one of the area’s most respected real estate firms.
Today, with her son Bo serving as Owner and Principal Broker, Barbara has returned to what she enjoys most – working directly with buyers and sellers. Her clients appreciate her unmatched local knowledge, honest guidance, and genuine commitment to treating every client the way she would want her own family to be treated.
Outside of real estate, Barbara enjoys supporting organizations close to her heart, including the Animal Welfare League and Garfield’s Rescue. She and her husband remain deeply rooted in the Northern Neck community they have proudly called home for more than 50 years.
